| Annotations | Coexpression of deltaOR with beta2AR undergoes isoproterenol-mediated endocytosis. beta2AR in the same cell undergoes etorphine-mediated endocytosis. Coexpression of beta2AR with kappaOR undergoes neither opioid- nor isoproterenol-mediated endocytosis. In addition, these cells show a substantial decrease in the isoproterenol-induced phosphorylation of MAPK. These results provide the evidence of GPCR hetero oligomerization that couple to different types of trimeric G-proteins, which leads to the modification of receptor trafficking as well as signal transduction. |
