Recently, it has been suggested that various pathogenic microorganisms such as Mycoplasma genitalium and Ureaplasma urealyticum are causative agents of non-chlamydial nongonococcal urethritis. M. genitalium is also linked to several inflammatory reproductive tract syndromes in women. |
