Description | Velocardiofacial syndrome (VCFS) is a condition characterized by multiple congenital abnormalities affecting tissues derived from neural crest cells. Individuals with VCFS are reported to have distinctive dysmorphology, congenital heart disease, learning disabilities, and high rates of psychiatric disorder, especially schizophrenia. |
