| 概要 | Human metapneumovirus (hMPV) is an emerging human respiratory pathogen first reported in 2001. hMPV is widely distributed that nearly all individuals have been exposed to the virus by age of 5 years. It causes mild to severe cough, bronchiolitis, and pneumonia and these symptoms cannot be distinguished from those caused by the respiratory syncytial virus, influenza and parainfluenza viruses. |
