Description of Project Excerpts from the Toxicogenomics Informatics Project (TGP2) website( http://wwwtgp.nibio.go.jp/index.html , Japanese ):
Aiming to build on these research achievements, the National Institute of Biomedical Innovation, the National Institute of Health Sciences and thirteen pharmaceutical companies have started the Toxicogenomics Informatics Project (TGP2), which is continuation of the TGP. In this project, which has the purpose of improving the efficiency of preclinical and clinical tests, the research on safety biomarkers based on (toxic) mechanisms, the research to improve extrapolation to human, and the establishment of the foundation for regulatory science will be promoted.
Public Release Status Currently, in principle the data are released to consortium members only, but as an exception some data are also publicly released. Timing and extent of the public release of the remaining data are unknown.
